From executive producers Stephen Merchant (The Office®, Extras®, The Ricky Gervais Show®), Lee Eisenberg, and Gene Stupnitsky comes an HBO® comedy series, Hello Ladies. Stuart Pritchard (Merchant) is a gawky Englishman searching for the woman of his dreams in Los Angeles. Single and desperate to mingle, Stuart is obsessed with infiltrating the glamorous world of beautiful people. He doggedly hits the LA social scene in search of someone special, often in the company of pals Wade (Nate Torrence), who’s in the throes of a divorce, and Kives (Kevin Weisman), a charismatic paraplegic who fares far better with the ladies than either of them. At home, Stuart has an easy rapport with his attractive roommate Jessica (Christine Woods), though it is clear she’s not romantically interested in him. Stuart’s perfect someone may be out there, but he might have set his sights just a little too high.
The series concludes with an 80-minute special, Hello Ladies: The Movie. This movie, like the series, puts Stuart in a number of hilariously cringe-worthy situations, while exploring whether Stuart can actually grow as a person and leave his shallow ideals behind.
